The Rare Scholarship & Development Community Interest Company enables exceptionally talented students to access high quality training regardless of financial circumstances. The company works to raise funds to offer the following:

Support for students who need it is ongoing even after they graduate – we continue to provide studio space, teaching resources, living costs and mentoring to support the development of our graduates’ creative skills and ensure their path to success. Many of our amazing graduates describe Rare as a ‘home’ – we are hugely invested in our creative community and proud to say that our door is always open.
Our team are specialists in their field and offer a range of skills, advice and support tailored to our students’ and graduates’ specific needs and circumstances. Scholarships are limited and have a strict criteria attached – if you are considering applying for a scholarship please contact us in absolute confidence to discuss further.
Fees & Funding
All our courses are means tested in order to make them as affordable as possible. We welcome applications from students from all backgrounds.
Classes at Rare are priced at £6 per session. Fee reductions are allocated on an individual basis. Please email enquiries@rarestudioliverpool.co.uk if you would like to be considered for a fee reduction.
Classes are payable termly, monthly or weekly. Flexible payment options can be arranged if agreed in advance.
Fees can be paid by cash, cheque, standing order or bank transfer.
